Pre-game Preparations

7 hours until the gunshot sounds to signal the start of the race.

Some of you may wonder what goes into the "getting ready" for a Final Fantasy race. Well, that depends on how fearsome and bold a racer you are, or perhaps on how snivelling and feeble. For the latter, perhaps you prepare by drinking a warm glass of milk with honey. You can tuck yourself in at 10:00, and suck your little thumb until you fall asleep.

For those of us made of sterner stuff, maybe we decide maintain a sense of pride and dignity, by going out partying instead.
